Measurement + Size Chart Help

Everyone should know their correct body measurements. It really comes in handy when ordering online since size charts differ. Here is my advice...

  1. Always use a cloth measuring tape. You can buy them on Amazon for a couple bucks. I also have them for sale here...  https://www.someangel.com/products/measuring-tape?_pos=1&_psq=measuring&_ss=e&_v=1.0

  2.  If you don't have a cloth measuring tape, you can use a piece of non-stretchy string or fabric. Simply mark where your measurements fall on the string and then measure that length with a ruler.

  3. For the best results, have someone else measure you. If you can't, then use a full length mirror.

  4. Make sure the tape measure is held snugly and firmly (not tightly) against your body and is always parallel to the floor for circumference measurements.

  5. For women, measure your bust wearing the bra you intend to wear with the specific item you're measuring for.

  6. Ideally you will take your measurements without clothes on, just your undergarments.

Shoulders: Measure across the back from the corner of one shoulder to the corner of the other shoulder.

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the bust. This measurement is taken above the band of your bra, and may not be the same as your bra size. Make sure the measuring tape is straight along the back.

Waist: Measure the smallest part of the waist. The natural waist is below the rib cage and usually above the bellybutton.

Hip: The hip measurement is taken at the widest part of the hips (around your butt!).

Sleeve: With one arm down at a slight angle, start from the corner of the shoulder and measure down to where you'd like your sleeve to end.
